Michaël Barret is a freelance art director and graphic designer.
Working in the cultural and artistic sectors, he works both for commissions and on self-initiated projects.

In 2008, he co-founded Pepper Pump, a renowned graphic design studio with three heads and six hands, where he began his career. Then, in 2012, he established himself as a freelance graphic designer.
Over the years, Michaël Barret has collaborated with institutions, cities, museums, artists, agencies, brands, music groups, cultural associations, and companies from various backgrounds.

For the past four years, he has also been working in the field of international sports, working closely with the French national team. The French Rugby Federation (FFR) has entrusted him with the creation of graphic materials specific to the French national team. These materials are valuable tools for player preparation and help anchor the French national team's progress in time until the next World Cup in 2027.

Alongside his activities, Michaël Barret works as a consultant, offering workshops and customized presentations (see 3iS Bordeaux — Film School, Atabal Biarritz, Weekreate — Innovation Week at Estia).
He also works in the artistic field, through a visual arts practice that takes various forms (exhibitions, book publishing, drawing, painting, installation, video, photography), in which he questions our relationship with images and their flow in our time.

He is currently conducting visual research using devices that connect our memory, time, and space, questioning the close and ambiguous relationships
between reality and fiction.
